"I love you Spartacus!"
"But I love Philandrea the water girl!"
"But she loves Dorkon the stableboy and Morgoran the butter churner, and Sleestak the reptile tender, and many more! Why can I not have your love?!"
Next up on All My Gladiator Children.

@Lesley, I HATE that movie! I watched it when I was 4 months pregnant with The Girl. At the point when Joaquin approaches the king and says "have I missed the battle" and the king says "my son, you've missed the war", I started crying. I have no idea why. And then I just cried for the entire movie. And 30 minutes after. It was TERRIBLE!

@The Wife, it's definitely an emotional movie. The ending makes me cry every time! But there are also funny parts, and Joaquin is the kind of creepy villain I love to hate. Maybe it's worth giving another shot when your hormone levels aren't so high lol :)

I don't think it was particularly sad. I just sort of lost it, for no apparent reason. But... no, sorry, it's been ruined for me. I will never watch it again.
