Um... is this a thing? Romance novels featuring cats??

I just don't know. I know that there are "dog" romances (like the Groom in Training one we just posted), and the romance is generally facilitated in some way by the dog. I suppose it's completely possible that there are some with a cat in that role. If it works for murder mysteries, why not love?

I just read this one, I'm sorry to say. Early in the story, the heroine is trapped in her apartment and the villainess is going to burn her alive. Heroine escapes out the window with her cat and leaps into a nearby tree and her spirit enters the cat while her body is carted off to the hospital in a coma. Most of the book is the heroine in the cat's body trying to communicate to the hero.
It's.....different.

She looks comatose, so I guess that fits. The cat looks demonic -- different colored eyes, cross-eyed, cut and pasted onto the cover so it looks disproportionately large. *shiver*
