Too much is happening in this picture! 2 questions:
Is this Fabio?
Why is his crotch shiny?
Posted by: Olivia | 12/17/2009 at 12:40 AM
Yes, it's Fabio. His crotch is shiny because he's wearing leather pants.
Posted by: La Femme | 12/17/2009 at 12:43 AM
A few things, Femme.
1) you need a flatulence category. Bowel movement just doesn't work in these cases.
2) Fabio's fart not only blew her hair but spooked the horse!
3) The books usually have a DIFFERENT picture on the outside and inside cover.
4) shiny pants - reminds me of the satiny disco (not polyester) pants from the 70's.
Good god I'm old.

Wait! Isn't that the same gown from the cover below this one? Sure looks like it!
Posted by: Deanatroi | 12/17/2009 at 01:55 AM
I like his dangling, spikey balls. There's something desperately wrong with her cleavage/clavicle area there. . .
Posted by: kathi | 12/17/2009 at 03:45 AM
D, It DOES look like the same dress! They just added a different belt. I wonder if there's some big "romance cover" costume chest. Taht would be funny.

K, it looks like she has a boob job and has "capsular contraction." (sp). In other words, it looks like she has Tori Spelling breasts.

Was he The Princess and the Wolf guy?
Posted by: Deanatroi | 12/17/2009 at 02:49 PM
No, I'm thinking of some Highland's book. Or maybe that one where that guy looked lie Farquuad?
Posted by: La Femme | 12/17/2009 at 07:26 PM
No. That's not Farquuad. I'm pretty sure of it. He was too dark all around for this guy. But I could be wrong.

Hey Femme - is this a futuristic one? He's got that gold arm band thing going on.
Posted by: Deanatroi | 12/17/2009 at 11:56 PM
Oooh oooh ooooh! I have SO got an end to that inside blurb:
In conquering her body and her soul, the relentless warrior would face his greatest challenge. Finding Beano in this time period.
Posted by: Deanatroi | 12/17/2009 at 11:59 PM
No, not futuristic. I think it's for either futuristic or viking time-frame wear. I've not seen it from the Regency era, for example.
See, if we didn't use Bowel Movements for flatulence, we wouldn't really need a bowel movements catagory. Besides, gas is a direct result of moving ones bowels -- just not pooping.
Posted by: La Femme | 12/18/2009 at 05:22 PM
Have you ever really NEEDED a true "pooping" bowel movement reference? If so, I wanna see it!
Posted by: Deanatroi | 12/18/2009 at 05:53 PM
Not in the covers blog.
Posted by: La Femme | 12/18/2009 at 08:59 PM
In the other? Share!
Posted by: Deanatroi | 12/18/2009 at 10:27 PM
Depends on what you mean by pooping. There are many that SOUND like constipation or diarrhea. You just have to read what you want into it. :D
Posted by: La Femme | 12/18/2009 at 10:56 PM
And nobody liked my Beano line :(
Posted by: Deanatroi | 12/23/2009 at 12:01 AM
well.... beano doesn't really work. :-P Maybe you could mention something about them eating broccoli.
Posted by: La Femme | 12/23/2009 at 08:26 AM
Broccoli CAUSES gassy emissions (as does cucumbers and a lot of other things when you have IBS). Beano stops them. I would think the girl and the horse would so appreciate his finding Beano.
Posted by: Deanatroi | 12/23/2009 at 11:24 AM
Well yes, but what I mean is that Beano doesn't WORK, not that it doesn't work for THIS. I know all about what causes gas and cramping. :-P
